Faro

Mona’s new bar, called Faro, is in the museum’s new wing, called Pharos—a monument to light and legacy, and a new gallery space housing artworks by James Turrell, Jean Tinguely, Charles Ross, Richard Wilson, Randy Polumbo and Nam June Paik.

You can either book a standard table or treat yourself to Art + Dinner: a $25 booking deposit will guarantee your restaurant reservation and grant you exclusive entry to Turrell’s Unseen Seen and Weight of Darkness throughout the evening (18+ only).

The Source Restaurant

The Source Restaurant takes its name from the John Olsen painting that hangs from the ceiling of the foyer.

The focus is on seasonal local produce, presented according to the whim of Vince Trim (ha), our Executive Chef, and his team. Shared plates, fresh, uncomplicated food, and a lovely outlook over the museum grounds.

The Golden Hour

Communal dining at Mona. Soak up the sunset beneath James Turrell’s rooftop spectacular, Amarna, then retire to the Wine Bar for some top-notch tucker.

The Golden Hour runs on Wednesday and Thursday evenings with a set three-course menu, which is $79 per person. Fancy a tipple? Add $50 on the night for matched wines.
